It is hard to believe that Peter was born 7 1/2 months ago! Despite all the rain we have been having, it feels like it was just yesterday the snow was here and I was in the hospital with him.
The real fun is starting now though. He is no longer a newborn who sleeps all day long. A couple weeks ago he discovered crawling and since then he hasn't stopped trying (and achieving) new things. The newest accomplishment for him is pulling himself to standing. He has also nearly mastered 'walking' along the couch - fortunately, he is starting to learn how to fall on his butt instead of backwards onto his head.
You would think he would be happy with this for a while, but not my little daredevil. He is already trying to climb up onto the couch. Lucky for me, that although he is nearly in 18 month clothing, he is still too small to get that knee up there. I have dealt with enough falls for the time being!
