I know Jays fan spread throughout Canada - especially now with the Jays being the only Canadian team left.
However, living in Ontario, I HATE when they go out west. Road trips are bad in general because I am not able to go to most of those games (although I have already been on a weekend trip this year and have another one coming this month). But, west coast road trips are the WORST! Being as addicted to baseball and the Jays as I am, I am one of those people who stay up to watch the entire game - including any extra innings *crosses fingers we have none this week* - regardless of what it does to my mood or my body.
Last night I was up until 2:00 am and today I am suffering for it. But, last night was the perfect game to explain why I torture myself - if I had gone to bed early (like when it was obvious we were going to win the game) I would have missed Johnny Mac's first career grand slam. This is something very exciting since Mac is not even a power hitter. The guy sure has responded well to being named the everyday starting shortstop with 2 homeruns since then. But, I digress.
I just hope we have some very fast games this week - and of course we win! Boston and New York aren't doing their part to lose for us.

I hate West Coast trips as well. I turned the game on while I was going to bed and they were playing in sunshine. It's just not fair!!!
